Joker - wall paint with environmental certification
Description
Solvent-free matte acrylic indoor paint, resistant to cleaning.
Features
For use on plastered, concrete, putty-coated, brick, wood, gypsum board, fiberboard, and woodworking panel indoor surfaces. Suitable for new and previously painted surfaces. Not suitable for painting doors and furniture.
Application
Intended for walls and ceilings in living rooms, bedrooms, children's rooms, hallways, kitchens, and other similar dry spaces.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Conditions for applying layers
The surface to be painted must be clean and dry. The ambient temperature should not be lower than +5 °C, and the relative humidity of the air should not exceed 80 %.
Surface preparation
Unpainted surface. Clean dirt and dust. If necessary, level with a suitable filler “Presto”, sand after drying, and clean sanding dust. Prime with a primer paint such as “Varma Primer”.
Previously painted surface. Wash with diluted cleaning agent “Maalipesu” and rinse thoroughly with water. Sand glossy surfaces to become matte, and clean sanding dust carefully. Fill cracks and pits with a suitable filler “Presto”, sand the filled areas after drying, and clean sanding dust. If necessary, prime with a primer paint such as “Varma Primer”.
Dilution
Dilute with water (use up to 10 % by volume).
Application
Before using the paint, mix thoroughly, and if necessary, dilute with water. Apply 1-2 coats with a roller, brush, or spray.
Cleaning tools
Clean paint residues and wash with water. Slightly hardened paint can be removed with the cleaning agent “Pensselipesu”.
Surface care
The painted surface can be cleaned no earlier than a month after painting. A dirty surface can be cleaned with a neutral (pH 6-8) cleaner using a sponge or cloth. Very dirty surfaces can be cleaned with a weak alkaline (pH 8-10) cleaner using a sponge or cloth. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly. Dilute the cleaner according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Under normal conditions, the paint coating fully hardens and achieves the necessary durability in about a month, so handle the painted surface very carefully for several weeks. If cleaning is necessary earlier, gently wipe with a damp cloth.
Repainting
A surface painted with “Joker” can be repainted with the same or similar type of water-based paints. See “Surface preparation”.
