SOIL MOISTURE SENSOR

The GARDENA soil moisture meter reliably measures the soil moisture level, informing whether the plants need watering. When used with an automatic watering device, the meter can skip the next watering cycle if the soil is sufficiently moist. The sensor can be paired with almost any GARDENA irrigation control device. The small height of the meter ensures that the device does not interfere with lawn mowing. The sensor has a 5-meter long cable, which can be extended with an additional cable. To operate the moisture meter, 2 AA batteries are required (not included). The battery power level is indicated on the device with an LED, and it is also visible in the water control app (if you are using the system with Bluetooth®).
