Rilak Floor Emulsion Paint Aureks 30

Quick-drying, wear-resistant urethane-alkyd enamel. Compared to typical alkyd enamels, it provides faster drying, as well as increased coating hardness and wear resistance. Designed for painting wooden and concrete floors indoors.

APPLICATION:
When painting concrete: the concrete must be homogeneous and ideally should not contain modifying additives (polymer dispersions, curing accelerators, hydrophobic additives, etc.). These additives can negatively affect the enamel's adhesion to the substrate (concrete). Therefore, if the exact composition of the concrete substrate is unknown, a small experimental area should be tested with enamel application, followed by a mechanical adhesion test. The absolute moisture content of the concrete must not exceed 4%.

Before use, the enamel should be mixed thoroughly. If necessary, it can be diluted to working viscosity with solvent up to 7% by volume. The surfaces to be painted must be cleaned of dirt. When applying AUREKS 30 on previously painted surfaces, a small test area should be painted first, after which interlayer adhesion should be checked. New concrete surfaces can be painted no earlier than 28 days after pouring (the lime milk must be removed from their surface beforehand) (see instructions for preparing concrete surfaces for painting). The ambient air and painting surface temperature must be between +5°C and +35°C, and the relative humidity of the air must not exceed 85%.

The enamel is applied to clean and dry surfaces in 2 coats with a brush or roller. The second coat can be applied no sooner than 6 hours at +20°C or 10 hours at +10°C. The maximum overcoating interval (before applying the next coat) is 7 days. If the next AUREKS 30 coat is to be applied 7 days after the previous coat, as well as applying AUREKS 30 on floors previously painted with alkyd enamels, in these cases, the painted surface must be sanded with fine sandpaper to enhance interlayer adhesion.
