The rope is made from 100% high strength polypropylene multifilament threads. The rope can be used in a chemical environment, is resistant to UV radiation, and has a medium level of wear resistance. This soft, buoyant rope is lighter than polyester and polyamide ropes. At break, the extension is approximately 25%. An attractive price and a wide range of uses for the rope are the main reasons for its popularity. Polypropylene ropes are widely used as auxiliary ropes in shipping, cargo transportation, fishing, construction work, agriculture, and everyday use.
