Application The thin-layer tile adhesive is intended for: stable, load-bearing bases, constructions with a double layer of drywall sheeting, and for underfloor heating. Suitable for opaque natural stone slabs, water-absorbent and non-absorbent tiles.
Substrate The substrate must be even, firm, unfrozen, free of dust, paint, and oil stains. If the tiles are laid on a plastered surface, the plaster layer must be single, no thinner than 10 mm and unpolished.
Mixing The contents of the bag are mixed with clean water by hand or in a slowly rotating mixer until a homogeneous mass without lumps is formed. Let it stand for 5 minutes for the adhesive to swell, and mix again. The consistency of the adhesive can be adjusted by adding more powder or water.
Amount of water: For 25 kg of powder, add approximately 6.5–7.5 liters of water.
Application Apply the mixed adhesive with the smooth side of a notched trowel onto the entire prepared surface. Then, use the notched side, holding it at a 90° angle (the size of the notched trowel is chosen depending on the size of the tiles), to smooth it out. With gentle circular movements, firmly press the tile onto the prepared adhesive layer. If a skin has formed (check with a finger!), scrape off the adhesive and apply again. The laying time and correction options depend on the substrate and the absorbent properties of the tiles, as well as the air and substrate temperature.
Filling joints. Joints are filled only when the adhesive has fully set. Wall tile joints – no sooner than 1 day, floor tile joints – no sooner than 2 days.
