SURFACE PAINTING AND CARE RECOMMENDATIONS
• The paint must be mixed thoroughly before use.
• When applying with a brush, the paint does not need to be diluted; when painting with a roller, it is allowed to add thinner up to 10% of the volume; when using a low-pressure or high-pressure sprayer, it is allowed to add a thinner up to 15% of the volume; HAMMERITE (Brush Cleaner & Thinner) can be used for thinning.
• To ensure even coloring without color differences, a sufficient amount of paint must be mixed in the paint containers.
• When painting with a brush or roller, apply 2 layers on the surface; using a high-pressure sprayer - 2-3 rounds, using a low-pressure sprayer - 3-4 rounds.
• During paint application and drying, air and surface temperature should be +5...35 °C (recommended +18±2 °C), relative air humidity <80%. You should avoid painting in windy weather, as well as when the sun rays fall directly on the surface, because an uneven and low-quality paint film may form on the surface due to too intense evaporation of the solvent.
• Clean water, as well as neutral or weakly alkaline cleaning agents (pH<8) should be used to clean the contaminated surface during operation. After using the cleaning agent, the surface should be thoroughly rinsed with water, as long-term exposure to alkali can make the painted surface matte. Higher water temperature speeds up surface cleaning. A soft brush or sponge can be used as a tool. Avoid using strongly alkaline cleaning agents.
